Tahosa has been busy these last couple months. We had a very successful Fall Fellowship with over 100 members in attendance. With their help we elected our 2017 lodge leadership. We also inducted our newest class of vigil members. Most importantly we finished with the last of our ordeal weekends. Inducting over 150 new ordeal members and more brotherhood members as well. This is why we as a lodge are starting to shift gears. We are focusing on the new projects we have coming up in the next year. This year we started to develop plans for two major events. The first is a Cubs to Camp program, we received a grant from the National OA Committee to hold a camping weekend for Cub Scouts in our area. We have begun planning for this event and it is a focus we have for the rest of are year. The second is an amazing project we will be working on for the next few years. It is a 14.5 -mile long perimeter trail at one of our council’s camps, Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch. Recently we have broken ground on this trail that will wrap around the edge of the entire camp. It’s our focus for the rest of the year to develop our vision for the future based on the groundwork we already laid.
